Donald Trump’s federal trial for seeking to subvert the 2020 election is likely to remain on hold for several more months while the Supreme Court takes up his argument that he is immune from prosecution.
In a one-page order Wednesday, the court set an expedited schedule to hear the immunity issue, with oral arguments to be set during the week of April 22. In the meantime, proceedings in the trial court will remain frozen.
There was no noted dissent or other explanation of the high court’s action.

Politico always biasing their article for the party line. Consulate propogandists, making it sound like he actually did it even before the courts rule.

No it wasn’t. There’s no deadline for supreme court opinions, other than they always finish them before summer break, and they take a while to draft. I think this one will be out LONG before summer break.
Had it been a rat the SC would have tossed Co SC within hours bank it.

Roberts trudging through the penumbras of the US Constitution over and over working on a “Get Trump!” “opinion”.
He’ll figure out a way....
But “No standing” by anyone to challenge the blatant fraud and blatantly unconstitutional acts by state level executive changing election laws without state legislature approvals in 2020.
“NO STANDING” to challenge obama’s lack of natural born citizen status. They just do whatever they want. You have “NO STANDING” to ask any questions.
Even in the unlikely event that Trump loses at SCOTUS, he will have at least 30 days to file a motion to reconsider. That will eat up another month, at least.
This case also creates a delay in the documents case.
Add in the illegality of the appointment of Jack Smith, it will be impossible to begin a trial until well after the election in November.
My guess is a majority of the Justices want to end these bullshit cases to go away as soon as possible.
Roberts has shot the wad on public perception of just how “Supreme” the Supremes are.
He now has no “Standing” among at least half of America. [Clown Show, now he is in charge of [800 rounds per second, LOL]]

If there is no immunity, Trump47 will absolutely prosecute Bidet and Obama. Obama certainly for being illegitimate. Could he produce a birth certificate? Could the US demand Hawaii submit the bound book which contains the BC Hussein has been claiming? This is a great suit, win or lose, for Trump.
