The relentless pursuit of media face time is a DeSantis trademark, not to mention the cheap trick of hyping by not announcing the subject matter of the conference.
Gov. Ron DeSantis spoke at the Freedom Institute of Collier County Wednesday, touting Florida’s school choice efforts in recent years.
“It does grow out of our commitment to education in the state of Florida,” he said. “We’re proud to be a state that has embraced education choice for parents.”

While he never saw a camera that he didn’t like, he stands in front of it and correctly points out what he is doing to crush liberals and RINOs. And... When the MSM press asks gotcha questions he crushes them as well.
