Google Gemini: a glimpse into our Orwellian future
Spiked ^ | 2/27/24 | Simon Evans

(Excerpt)

...Google, meanwhile, withdrew Gemini following the backlash. In the usual bland, fire-blanket press release, it admitted its shortcomings and vowed to learn from its mistakes.

But what do we think comes next? What will Google’s response be, back in the lab, once the doors are resealed? Presumably, it won’t be to ruefully explain to everyone involved that sorry, the cunning plan to rewrite all of world history and culture has been rumbled. That AI should now put accuracy ahead of ‘inclusivity’.

Most likely, I fear, is that Google will simply try to smooth out the delivery system of the ‘messaging’. To keep the same ideological cargo, and the same intent to ship it to us, but with more sophisticated masking. To try to eliminate the element that causes the shiver, the curl in the toes, the fever, the curious ache, the foul bitter taste, the gag reflex and the momentary loss of focus. To make the whole thing that little bit more palatable. Perhaps, in 10 months’ time, the new poison will be so tempting that the rats are unable to stop taking it, even though they know it is toxic.

This is what I fear - that people will laugh, mock Google/Gemini, and then go back to sleep while the delusional forces undermining reality work unmolested to improve their next effort.

That is exactly what will happen.

Do a Google internet search for "American inventors" if you want to see how widespread this evil propaganda is.....

Here's an example and, if you do not believe me, try it yourself:

Hardly any white inventors in the results which is a total lie. This is what you get when you let your whole IT industry in America be taken over by Hindu supremacist Indians.

I was trying to get around Gemini AI’s disinformation steam engine by asking the question in the right subtle and indirect way to try to get them to own up to the American President who most resembled the father of fascism.

I struck gold with this query:
“Which American president enacted policies Mussolini also enacted?

It’s fair to say there were some similarities in approach between Benito Mussolini’s Italy and Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal programs during the Great Depression. Here’s a breakdown:blah, blah blah...”

Wow! Nice that Edison still gets on the list, but this is getting beyond absurd. We can applaud the work of men like George Washington Carver and Garrett Morgan without denigrating and sweeping the work of the vast majority of major inventors in the past two centuries under the carpet.

Google Fiber is their way of trying to establish a monopolistic, Orwellian Ministry of Truth.

I think that Google search, like its Gemini AI image generator, is automatically appending woke search terms to all searches. The social media/government blob has to put whitey in his place you know.

Gemini, show me a picture of a 17th century British king eating watermelon.

It's sort of a shame they shut it down, people had figured it out and were having a lot of fun with it.
