The problem with comparing us to Atlas Shrugged, is that in the novel, the looters simply collapsed, and the free-thinking “strikers” went on to start a new, free, capitalist society.
It definitely will NOT be like that in real life. The woke looters will certainly not give up power or recognize their failure. And there will will be a lot of violence, death, and hardship for a long time.
Karl Marx said, “The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggle”. This view is limited to what can be observed, measured, or computed. Everything exists within the bounds of infinity. Humanity exists as swarms of creatures identified to be irradicated or dominated. There is no perception or acknowledgement of eternity where our Lord resides. In this country some people are able to resolve the principles of Marxism to support the creation of White Privilege, Black Lives Matter, and Critical Race Theory.
The Declaration of Independence says, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”. In this expression, the Creator reaches into our world from eternity to endow individuals with inestimable value despite the human condition, and therefore reminds those holding governing positions of their own fallibility.
I started reading Atlas Shrugged in high school too. I’m almost done.
During the 0bama years, my brother-in-law and I would share passages from Atlas Shrugged, that mirrored 0bama actions.
The audiobook is 62 hours long.

The movie has three parts and three different Dagnys.
The first one was the best, the third had little to like. I liked the original Dagny and Francisco.
Good literature at its core has an understanding of human nature and behavior. As history has shown human nature, personalities, behavior and events recur constantly. It is not surprising that the scenarios in the best of novels are constantly reenacted in real life.
When Trump was elected the New York Times and liberals in general went on and on about how vitally important “1984” was once again. As the left fulfill the tyrannical actions in this novel, they go on and on about supposed dictator Trump. Trump has taken to calling them “Communists” and with his powers of persuasion I hope he keeps on that track.

It’s cool to read fiction, not cool to read the Bible and that’s what is under attack. The fiction novels do tell a dystopian story straight from the Bible. Easier read?
