This is Rochdale (A bizarre Special Election)

BBC just previewed the Rochdale parliamentary special election (Feb 29) with their main anchor visiting the town.

He noted it was famous for the sexual exploitation of young girls.

He interviewed George Galloway (a former Labour MP) who is one of the leading independent candidates.

Galloway says he will raise hell if elected over the war in Gaza appealing to many Muslims.

He interviewed another leading candidate Simon Danczuk who was also a Labour MP and represented the town from 2010 - 2017 before being suspended for lewd texts to a 17 year old girl.

He's standing for Reform (Farage's party) and says it's a 2 horse race between him and Galloway. His pitch is that Galloway will put Gaza first while he'll put Rochdale first.

The anchor visited Labour Party HQ in the town which had the shutters down and was decidedly closed.

Bizarre in a special election the opposition are not even contesting it as their official candidate has been suspended over antisemitism.

All in all, one of the strangest and colorful elections in the UK for many years!

My prediction is Galloway wins it with the substantial Muslim vote.

The Mainstream Media in the UK promoting Galloway over the Muslim dumped by the Labor Party who is still on the ballot and could serve as an Independent if he wins.

I think there is something to this better the Leftie that hates Israel than the Muslim that hates Israel is the British “Deep State” preference.

Fear is riding high the Speaker of the House of Commons said in essence today he allowed anti-Israel resolutions to be introduced in Parliament yesterday out of fear of a terrorist attack.

The Labor candidate is still on the ballot, you’re right.

But Labor have withdrawn support and everyone knows about it (for sure?!)

So I think they will lend their votes to Galloway.

Galloway says at 69 this is his last election he contests.

Something of a swansong given there will be a General Election this year.

He’s a disruptor.

He sure makes a speech that’s for sure. I’ve seen some of his talk show videos.

From the article: Galloway says he will raise hell if elected over the war in Gaza appealing to many Muslims.

I took this to mean he was angry that the Muslims in the area supported Hamas?

From the article: [Rochdale is in]famous for the sexual exploitation of young girls....

.... [The other candidate] represented the town from 2010 - 2017 before being suspended for lewd texts to a 17 year old girl.

Yes he was and dismissed it in the interview: “Tabloid nonsense and wont be a factor”

Look him up (also lock him up!)
