FWIW, during the Second World War, the Chinese Nationalist Army often wore helmets styled after Germany’s stahlhelm.
They used actual stahlhelms, and they also imported modern 1930s German helmets.
The uniforms were also, sometimes, styled after German models. This all applied only to some units, which had been trained by a German military mission. The Chinese girl picture is more or less historically accurate, though women were not really official Chinese soldiers. But in that sort of war anything could happen.
The only possibly off image is the black guy, but in fact Germany had some black residents, former natives of the old German colonies in East and West Africa. The Nazis never really persecuted them, and some did perform military service in German uniform.
The stahlhelm was used by Swiss fire-rescue.
Probably cheaper to import war-surplus from Germany than to “make from scratch”.
The Swiss are very cheap!
