I’m still thinking that “Socialism with Chinese characteristics” is cognate with national socialism. It certainly is not international socialism.
Its one reason some leftover modern commies do what their predecessors always did
dismiss all old attempts at communism, with the “no true Scotsman” argument. Those guys were actually Nazis! is pretty typical.
