I really don't know what the solution is. You can have only so much entertainment with the 3-pt and dunk contests (the latter has its own risks).

I know what the solution is. Get rid of it. It’s a self indulgent relic.

Make it meaningful. Losing team gets to run around the outside of the court 20 times. Last 5 players get to do 40 laps.
