I welcome Flag Football as a woman's sport, and for mixed-sex beer-league teams for sociability and sportsmanship. Sports is good for everyone, and if they can take the skill and strategy of football, and subtract out its impact injuries, then that's an undeniable good for the sport's mass adoption.
As far as a professional or Olympic-level sport, eh. Top level football just isn't the same without tackling.

In the first Olympics Athens beat Sparta in flag football. When they started playing tackle Sparta was undefeated. /Sarc

Top level football just isn't the same without tackling. The defenders are not allowed to tackle the quarterback anymore.
They need to change the rules in the NFL so that the quarterback can't go behind the line of scrimmage.

In 10 years, there will be nothing BUT flag football.Already happening. Look at what I said in #10.

National Flag League?
Oops, there's an extra 'l' in there.
To: MinorityRepublican
Do you mean ‘past’ the line of scrimmage?
To: MinorityRepublican

“That’s going to be really exciting,” Tagovailoa said, adding he played flag football as a 5- or 6-year-oldExactly. Best suited for grade schoolers.
We were too poor to buy flags, so we just lined up in the sandlot and took the hits.

The most important thing I want to know is will Mr. Swiftie be playing in it, and will Taylor be there to watch him?

We should sue to stop them from making flag football an Olympic event. This was an insult.
