The Covenant series was a little more specific in it’s readership. You had to really want to read it to get through his verbosity. Great story but very long.What made it so unbearingly long and boring was also the fact that Thomas Covenant was not the most sympathetic of main characters.

But I didn't find the stories boring at all.
