Some good ones there. Maybe add Stephenson’s Anathem.

Pretty thin gruel other than Tolkien, Martin, Lewis, and Pratchett. As usual, there appear to have been many superior works omitted in favor of feminist polemics.

Two of my favorites (maybe more SF than fantasy, but...)

Looks like a list made by AI. I’ve done the same with sci-fi and sci-fi authors books.

I’ll throw in a vote for Ridley Walker. It’s a bit difficult, but rewarding.

Jimmy Carter's autobiography Why Not the Best? didn't make the list.

Besides Tolkien's excellent works, I've read mostly science fiction, which sort of borders on fantasy but with future techy stuff. I quite enjoyed this little series though:

Not much of a list without Roger Zelazny’s Amber series. Many others I’d rate above some of the ones listed.

How could they leave out the Conan novels. They were awesome.

Good list. I've read most of those books.
A Song Of Ice And Fire" by George RR Martin has had 5 of 7 books completed. I've given up waiting for the final two volumes but the first five are well worth the effort. (This is what the TV series "Game Of Thrones" is based on.)
I actually never saw the TV series, by the way. Nor have I seen the "Lord Of The Rings" movies directed by Peter Jackson.

I would not consider 100 years of Solitude a fantasy novel but it is one of the best novels of the last 50 years. I was reading it on an air flight. The stewardess, a Latino, saw what I was reading and gave me a wink and a nod. She then gave me free drinks for the rest of the flight. I guess Latinos really love their authors. It is a very deep book.
