After all, Judaism could be called the „parent“ of Christianity, that goes especially for its very high ethical and moral standards.

One of the Popes (a REAL Pope, unlike today's facsimile) called the Jews "Our beloved elder brethren".

Yes. I think it was John XXIII, who introduced himself to a group of rabbis with the Biblical words „I am Joseph, your youngest brother“ (his birth name had indeed been Giuseppe i.e. Joseph).

And I know that he made grave mistakes with the Second Vatican Council, but OTOH he is responsible for saving the lives of many Jews in 1944 who were stranded in Turkey🙂
