Those marks on the Turtle....... Had something similar happen to me on the hands. I have veins that are very difficult to start an IV in. Was getting prepped for my lumpectomy and I don’t think the doc told me to stop my blood thinner in a timely fashion. Nurse jabbed me a couple times and no go —instead the veins in my hands burst and instantly I had that deep purple bruises and swelling. So I think Terrapin is definitely on blood thinners.
