As to the first - 'far enough' - I have heard some argument there, but most likely to just be a visual experience. As to the latter - 'already happened' - that doesn't mean much, except that the light just hasn't reached us yet. It takes the light from the Sun almost 9 minutes to reach Earth; IOW, the Sun could have 'clicked off' five minutes ago and we wouldn't know it yet. 🤭
