That’s been going on here on FR for years. “Let’s just let the democrats win everything. After 4 years of that, the country will come to its senses.” A common refrain from some on here when others try to explain it’s all a numbers game, the party with the most people in office gets to make the rules, period. So, vote conservative in the primaries, then vote republican in the general. Not a hard concept to understand. But some on here still don’t get it. If the person isn’t 100% pure in their mind, ‘they won’t abandon their principles’. So, we get democrats controlling everything. Which in their mind is somehow a win for their conservative values.

Democrats got the house majority in Pennsylvania according to The Liberty Daily.

Using the “equivalence” argument is a Dem tactic. The fact remains that Santos was a fraud of epic proportions. No better than Swalwell, Schiff or Menendez. The major difference is that Santos was exposed as a fraud before he was ever sworn into office, while the other three useful idiots and crooks were given cover by Dems for years before the public saw them for what they are. I won’t blame the GOP for kicking Santos to the curb. It’s one of the few righteous decisions the Party has made in recent history.

Dems will back their candidates and vote for them even if they were to see one grab a baby by its' ankles and dash its' brains out on a rock.

Democrats understand incrementalism. Chip away and get a little of what they want with each election.

Many republican fools will sit on their hands and not vote if a candidate is not exactly what they want, agreeing with them on 100% of the issues.

Listen up, perfectionist repubs! Unless you run for office yourself, you are NEVER going to find a candidate that will agree with you on everything that you think you can vote for.

It is the fault of such repubs that we have the insanity in government we are now suffering.

Don't be surprised if repubs who understand reality disdain insane perfectionists and those wanting to send some stupid "message" that won't ever be heard.

The dems worship one god, power. Nothing they do in the furtherance of that religion is sinful, and is therefore acceptable to them. If the dems find the right configuration for the 30 pieces of silver, the Republicans roll over. Moral and/or ethical behavior is just something to talk about either during a campaign or when some of their transgressions have been exposed. Only the Republicans seem to act with standards of behavior occasionally, and alas, always to their detriment.

Our problems aren't just with the Republicans. It's with most of us.

We claim to choose capitalism over communism, then we sent our manufacturing, technology, and money to a communist nation that had already stolen our military secrets. Oh yes we did, by choosing the cheaper communist made products over "Made in USA" to save a few pennies. Now they're using our money and technology to build up their infrastructure and military while our infrastructure is crumbling and we needed to raise the debt limit just to service the interest on our loans.

We say we love our Veterans, yet we chose Chinese slave labor over our own Vets. Now we have a major Vet suicide and homeless problem.

We put down the young generation as cellar dwellers, yet we're the ones who sent the high paying jobs out of the country with our buying habits. Now our kids are angry and rioting, but what did we think was going to happen?

We want Trump to save us, but then we continue to pay the mainstream media that continually lies about him for the privilege of being entertained by them, and we continue to buy products from tech firms that are actively working to suppress him and us rather than find alternatives.

We talk about how the government is weaponizing the government agencies against us, yet we still trust them to utilize the DEA for the sole purpose of fighting drugs. What's worse, we want the government to continue to spend billions a year fighting drugs, even as that same government's open border policies are allowing the drugs to flood the country in the first place.

We support the WOD, but we see any restrictions on smoking or alcohol as an infringement on our personal freedoms.

And then we threaten the left with our 80 billion bullets and challenge them to "try that in a small town", but the for sale signs go up as soon as they get anywhere near our small towns.

They have figured out by now that we're paper tigers. We can't even boycott the media that is lying about us and inciting violence against us, yet we think we're ready for CWII.

Not all of us, but you know who you are.

So maybe the problem isn't that the Republicans aren't representing us. Maybe the problem is that they are representing us only too well.

Santos wasn’t in a swing district. His win in 2022 was a fluke.

Reagan deficits were couch change compared to today.

The Reagan deficits also paid for a peaceful end to the Cold War, something few thought was possible before it happened. The prosperity and "balanced budgets" that followed were made possible by this.

Yes. The GOPe are the clowns who work behind our backs and collude with the democrats.

Biden can’t win anything. He is an illegitimate fraud. But he could win by virtue of the fact that nothing will be done to stop the cheating.

We help them by recognizing that disgrace conned into the White House as legit. Because he isn’t.

Bill Clinton also supported giving China MFN, as did Gore and Biden. That should have been enough to tell us something, but the promise of getting our hi tech toys for less spoke louder.

Here’s another one for the Dems: Soros buying up the bankrupt Audacy, which owns 235 radio stations and a dominant online radio app.

Deleting Audacy from my Samsung S22 right now. Dammit. It’s the only way I can listen to my favorite radio station. Guess it’s time to find a different station.

This gives him a potential stranglehold on conservative talk radio.

If by 'stranglehold' you mean DESTROY conservative talk radio, you're correct.
