My brother has a credit score of 800 plus and makes about $20K per year. He has a Discover card that he uses a few times a year and pays off promptly.

So, yeah, it can be done.

A long time ago when i worked in finance if you had 620 it was almost impossible to get a loan.

Today I know there has been score inflation so i don’t think 675 is very good.

I hit 850 for a while but since I no longer have a mtg my score is around 795, but whatever.

I have the original draft proposal that fair issac sent out for comment when they first proposed creating a credit score somewhere.
