The motion initiator is Turkish-tied Muslim Mahmut Sungur from the Islamic Denk (or “Think”) party, lauding Utrecht’s “pioneering stance.”
This move, endorsed by the left-wing city council and led by a controversial Muslim politician and political party operating on behalf of Turkey, represents a profound victory for Islamic supremacists trying to conquer The Netherlands. It is more than just a nod to religious diversity; it’s a capitulation to the demands of a growing sharia-adherent Muslim migrant population, a sign of a foreign Islamic government’s control over a Western nation, and a clear signal of a dangerous trend toward the Islamization of the Netherlands.
The council’s decision, which has been sold to the public as a religious accommodation, is a glaring example of the major foothold a controversial Islamic party, operating on behalf of Turkey’s interests, has over the Netherlands. The Islamic-controlled Denk party, led by Muslim figures with close ties to Turkish President Recep Erdoğan, has been making significant strides in reshaping Dutch society according to Islamic values. Sharia-adherent uniforms for officers is just their most recent victory.
Muslims who wore these coverings in non-Islamic countries are broadcasting their commitment to Sharia.
