I remember that Central Bus Station. My hotel was nearby, and I would walk to the Station and take a bus to the Jaffa Gate. I can see it in my mind as you describe it.

I had amba on a “Mixed Grill” plate in an Israeli restaurant that I used to frequent in Boca Raton FL. It was near one of my student’s homes, so I ate there at least once a week.

I have yet to find an Israeli Restaurant in Boston. Lots of Jewish Delis though!

I think I know the restaurant in Boca. The owner’s family now lives in Samaria, and he commutes between Florida and Israel.

OK...I correct myself. There are plenty of places in Boston that serve “Mediterranean” and “Middle Eastern” Food, but none are called “Israeli” Restaurants.

That could be that Boston is too close to Harvahd.
