Someday, somebody will find a way to stop it at the basic cellular level that will be a simple and ubiquitous solution for all forms of cancer. The endocrinologist will give you a prescription and that will be that. Or who knows, maybe some kinda nano-robots like from a sci-fi movie, programmed to go find and kill the cancer cells.
The barbarity of chemo and radiation treatments will be no more - but we're not there yet, not anytime soon.
I've said for years, that someday people will look back and say, Wtf were they thinking?!?! Filling a body with chemical toxins will somehow make you better?!?! It'll be like we think of leeches and bleeding.
I'm no expert, and I know people have been "cured" from it and I salute them all. But gawd... there has to be something else.
