The Who were even worse live. Due to the sparse and thin sound.

You must not have seen them around 1970. That was their peak live. I liked that their live sound was more raw than the studio versions.

1968 or 1969. They played some Tommy songs and it was very thin sounding, which is your raw. Roger was hyperactive, with plenty of microphone tossing, to try to make up for this. Boring shyte!
