Trump chose Mike Pence as his running mate.

And most everyone on this site at the time thought Pence was A-OK. A man of God, you know.

The board nevertrumpers are out in force blaiming Trump for ronna being in office..

You’re right, Trump did not have enough votes to secure the win for Harmett, and much like what dewitt tried to do to Kari Lake, if Trump had endorsed Harmett and gotten her elected, the same thing happening in michigan with Karamo would be occurring now, except with Harmett...

and Trump would have no further GOPe rnc uniparty support

You are entitled to your own beliefs.
We do not align on this issue.
Perhaps your take on the subject reflects the way it “should be” but the GOP is not supportive of Trump and would not “obey” his wishes. They certainly did not support him in his Presidency or his re-election. My reading is that Trump did not endorse her and that fact is a loud and clear statement on his stance. Once it was clear the GOP committee would elect her he would have been a fool to attack her.

Harmeet was the obvious choice, if they really want to win. She is tough as nails.

You mischaracterize a complex situation.

https://www.politico.com/story/2016/12/rnc-announces-mcdaniel-as-trumps-pick-to-head-rnc-232653

The article lays out the horse trading involved and gives the lie to your assertion.
Excerpt
“The announcement capped weeks of jockeying, speculation, and behind-the-scenes intrigue as to who would lead the committee. It culminated in a proxy fight pitting Priebus, a longtime party insider who favored the establishment-minded McDaniel, against Trump chief strategist Steve Bannon, a populist firebrand who backed Georgia-based GOP operative Nick Ayers. Unlike McDaniel, a current member of the RNC, Ayers is a committee outsider.

Trump ultimately settled on McDaniel, who as head of the Michigan Republican Party helped him capture an industrial Midwest state that had voted Democratic in recent presidential elections. Last Friday, before a rally in Grand Rapids, Trump huddled with McDaniel, 43, backstage and told her he looked forward to working with her.

But Trump would also hand a consolation prize of sorts to the conservative advisers who backed Ayers, a group that included Bannon, former campaign manager Kellyanne Conway, and mega-donor Rebekah Mercer. Rather than pick an establishment-minded co-chair, he tapped Paduchik, a fierce Trump defender and loyalist.”

She must have gone to Michael Jackson’s plastic surgeon.

He doesn’t endorse people who agree with him. He endorses people after he’s convinced they’ll winner. He will endorse a RINO who will win over a MAGA candidate who is a loser — a hundred times out of a hundred.

He only endorsed McDaniel AFTER she had already lined up enough supporters in the GOP state committees to ensure that she’d be selected as the RNC chair.

I agree with this. This is what I see also.

So, if your chosen messiah, desanctimonious, had won...

What would he have done about ronna?

He would need, what, 2/3 of the rnc to vote to fire her?

who is the bigger sacrificial lamb, to keep control?

ronna, or the swamp, GOPe rino uniparty puppet, desanctus?

Clarification

who is the bigger sacrificial lamb, to get rid of, for the good ole boy’s club to keep their control over the republican party?

“I wrote my state committee members asking them to vote against her because of the profligate spending on stupid items.”

Thanks for contacting your committee members. It was pretty clear that the electorate didn’t want Ronna McDaniel for a fourth term and yet, the RNC committee members voted for her overwhelmingly anyway.

The Republican party is ignoring their base.

And you can add to that that Harmeet Dhillon has issues of her own and is hardly some MAGA outsider.

You’ve not been paying attention. Hundreds and hundreds are vetted to replace schedule F firees to staff depts run by new dept. heads.

Many of the 1st term staffers would not be welcome back, i.e. Sessions but I can think of dozens of sympaticos off top of head.

Burghum, Ramaswamy, Lake, Pompei, Cruz, Munchin, Forbes, Dr. Jackson, several skeptic COVID doctors, Harmeet Dillon, Tulsi, Byron Donalds, FOX financial guy, Mike Flynn, Bannon, Zinke, Ben Carson, Sen. Scott-sc, and tons more that don’t come to mind, and dozens more Trump has in mind. Voss/Ed.

The consistently stellar quality of your comments over the years entitles you to turn a noun into a verb, but we are grateful nonetheless for the clarification.

Sessions was weak. He listened to anti-Trumpers that convinced him he should recuse. He played by Queensbury rules, when he was swarmed by crooks.

Honor went too far, considering he was battling honorless slimes.
