my view on NDE’s is that because what i experienced was unbiblical (ie, God’s voice sounded, giving me a ‘test’ which if i passed, i woudl be let out- i failed, and was ‘banished into nothingness’ which actually was more frightening than the actual vision of hell i had), it was more likely that the high fever i had from peritonitis and going into convulsions, that synapses were misfiring in the brain, causing ‘lucid visions’- I don’t think it was an actual passing over- but rather just the brain going bonkers due to lack of blood or oxygen or whatever caused by the convulsions- certainly the high fever caused the brain to act weirdly too-
The whole experience however was so vivid and frightening, that it has stuck with me all these years as though it just happened-
My view is you should take experiences as they come—even NDEs—and not try to overlay “doctrine” on top of them.
I’m not opposed to believing it was God talking to you! LOL...
