He was Greek.
Well, Greek educated.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
(Asbestos shields up.)
Good grief.
Give it a rest already people. (not you, nick)
This business of rewriting history to promote homosexuality has just gone on far enough.
WHo9 the heck cares if he was or not?
I guess Greeks discuss it over ouzo.
Feel free to post that EVERY Western hero was gay...it doesn’t mean we need to believe it, nor does it mean that it was true, at all.
I seriously doubt it.
Well, when everyone in their world is queer they just naturally assume the ENTIRE world is all queer.
The screeching begins when they are told no, they are the only ones.
.
Go figure.
Wrong uniforms wrong spears wrong shields.
And syphillis. In the 70’s, we were told they all had syphillis.
His was father was Macedonian, not Greek; his mother was from Greek tribe in Epirus (modern Albania), and her mother was supposedly from the Troad. Alexander cut a wide swath with women, although this gay BS pops up (ahem) every so often. It's a juicy **** sandwich. There's also been a book claiming he was an alcoholic, which probably wasn't true, but at least that one is plausible. :^)
Alexander had to figure out how to cope with an army in India which used elephants as tanks, and also sneak his entire army across a river in the night, without boats, in order to get in place to fight the battle. His method of dealing with elephants was taught in military schools for the rest of antiquity. The Romans used it so effectively that the last major use of elephants in the Med basin was the Battle of Thapsus, which ended most of the thugs fighting Julius Caesar.
Alexander the Great went through something like that. So I wouldn't call that "gay". As you see, they're still doing in in the Russian military. No one is calling them "gay".
Alexander the Fabulous.
The phalanx??
The gay mafia is slowly rewriting every historical figure as a pansy.
I doubt he had time for it, what with conquering all the known world at the time.
Don’t really care, but I read the fiction historical trilogy on Alexander the Great in the early 1970’s by Mary Renault. The third novel The Persian Boy suggested Alexander had a castrated male slave boy as a concubine…

Not more than 10 minutes in, Barack & Big Mike are shoving homosexual embraces in my face. Good grief...
