I just feel bad for all the young folks not having much of a future. I have two grandchildren that go to private school.

Not yet, but we are too quickly reaching the point of no return.

But the truth of the matter is that if we don’t change the government in this next ‘24 election, this country is dead. I’ve never said that before. I don’t see any way out. Will Donald Trump stop the Democrat party from spreading its socialist tentacles, or is America already like Dr. Malcolm Crowe?

There are a couple of problems with this rant.

1) The author believes electing a Republican, or Republicans, equals "changing the government". Most of the government is no longer responsive to elections, and hasn't been for a long time.

2) She believes America can be saved without Democrats, and the way the economic system is run is our biggest problem, both of which are absurd.

I believe the answer is yes. I don’t see anarchy coming, just a deterioration into a squalid quasi-police state not unlike the moribund European Union. Stumbling along with crumbling economies and vulnerable to predations from more aggressive cultures. Populations continuing to decline because no one has anything to live for and no vision of the future to look forward to.

I sound pessimistic but here’s the key — even as the trend has been increasingly clear since 1988, and despite a gleam of hope during the Trump years, there is no organized resistance to the takeover. The GOP is an empty shell, currently hosting a candidate funded almost entirely by leftwing democrat donors. GOP senators who think 5000 aliens a day coming in is a great solution to a self-generated problem. That’s just the start. Step back and look at it, all of it. The uniparty is real, and in control. We’re done.

Here’s how we got here.

Senator Howard Metzenbaum (champion of labor) slipped a poison pill in the Tax Reform Act of 1986 changing the rules for Defined Benefit (DB) pension plans in vesting rights from 10 years to 5 years. This change was to take place in 1989. I worked for a company with 20,000 on-site employees (jet engines) in Evendale, Ohio in 1988. The massive layoffs started soon after. This was so easily predicted. Now we have 20,000 illegal invaders crossing the border in a week to take American’s jobs and private company Defined benefit (DB) pension plans have been gutted. Now American workers are being outright replaced.

You don’t think Howard knew what he was doing? Introduced in the Senate as S.3527 Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act of 1988 by Howard Metzenbaum on June 16, 1988. In 2001, there were about 2,000 mass layoffs and plant closures that were subject to WARN advance notice requirements and that affected about 660,000 employees.

88 percent of public employees are covered by a defined benefit pension plan. Well ain’t that something. /s

We already had a revolution in this country, roughly around the first Obama election. They won, we lost.

What we are experiencing now is what the revolution in power does, destroy and take over law enforcement, intelligence and the military, jail the political opposition on false charges, liquidate the middle class, preferably by stealth with inflation and limitation of their mobility, unleash the criminal underclass to create terror and atomization of the populace, tear down the monuments of the past and rewrite history, indoctrinate the youth in the new order, and force the people to assent to absurdities such as men can become women simply by saying so.

Add in periodic panics over climate change, pandemics, and “threats to our democracy”, stigmatize all dissent as “disinformation “, and the cake is baked.

The Republicans in Congress should try to send a federal middle class income tax capping amendment to the states, such as:

Federal income taxation shall be capped as follows, on income:
below the average yearly apartment rent in the District of Columbia, 10%,
below the median federal full-time civilian employee compensation amount, 22%,
below the average upper quartile of federal full-time civilian employee compensation amount, 30%,
below the average upper decile of federal full-time civilian employee compensation amount, 40%.

[Note 1: The 10% includes FICA.]
[Note 2: This provides great flexibility for the federal government in times of war and depression because it can increase tax revenue by cutting its employee compensation.]

The fact is that President Trump, if re-elected, will only be a speed bump slowing the onslaught for 4 years.
The RINO’s won’t allow him to enact any meaningful legislation and when he leaves for the final time, we will be punished with another dem “President”. The left will hunt us down with dogs.
Watched a documentary last evening showcasing the Pacific War. Wonder what those young Marines wading thru the lagoon at Tarawa would think if they could see what has become of the country so many gallantly gave their precious lives for. Makes me weep..

Deuteronomy 28: 43-45

43 “Foreigners who live in your land will gain more and more power, while you gradually lose yours. 44 They will have money to lend you, but you will have none to lend them. In the end they will be your rulers.

45 “All these disasters will come on you, and they will be with you until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the Lord your God and keep all the laws that he gave you.

There is now, no country on the face of the earth that honors God.

I see the US at a similar crossroads as France in 1789 when angry mobs soon ruled the day

If you had made a list of all the actions a “president”

The only two items on Biden’s agenda that he hasn’t crippled or killed are one party government and globalism.

Early Spring -- Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow today.

Anyway, I followed the link and what did I see right at the very top --

Is America Already A Dead Country?

Then there was a black wreath to set the mood. Sheesh.

Tomorrow could be the 3rd, or yet another 6 o'clock wake-up to today, to Sonny and Cher, without ever getting to the end of the song.

As long as it takes..

..to arrive on the Day the Music Died, in order to begin a new song.

To those who are ready to fall in love:

"Hello Everybody. It is my happy privilege to introduce a new song: God Bless America."

Kate Smith singing GOD BLESS AMERICA

There's a Eucatastrophe behind door No. 3.

America is dead like Nietzsche said God is dead; might as well be as we act like it.
Stop acting like it.

(Most) big cities are like blobs of bubonic plague while rural areas and smaller towns are largely uninfected. Any “new spring growth” has to come from the latter areas..

Unfortunately, Trump, with his declaration of the “plandemic”, etc., played a role, too. As did legislation or actions under presidents back decades.
