I partially agree. Ultimately, there isn’t enough money and aren’t enough police and prisons to end crime, and the only way a society gets beyond crime is if a high enough percentage of the population won’t commit crime because they morally believe it is wrong and because they want to do the right thing - independent of whether or not they are afraid of being caught and prosecuted.

If the only deterrence to crime in America is fear of punishment, we are in big trouble. Unfortunately, for too many this is the only deterrence.

If you don’t see your fellow citizens as good people deserving of happiness and a good life, or worse if you feel that they are privileged people who deserve their comeuppance, you can justify to yourself making them targets and committing crimes that hurt them. This is where we are right now. Further, there are too many people in public office and in the political bureaucracy who feel this way.

When there are no morals as a guide to actions in society no system of government will work, and that society is doomed.

I believe the problem is rooted in black culture rap. As long as there are punks rapping the do a hoe, have more blo and Killa cop this will persist. With a solid diet of crap, you become crap.

Let’s start with LBJ and his government’s policy that ended up destroying the black family. For the black community,it’s his policies that pumped black illigitemate births from 30 percent to over 75 percent. Young males with no male influence in the household only yields rapping duckweeds.
