Yes I suggest to those those that want to go into the medical profession that want to help people go into nursing instead. Nurses are closer to the patient, hands on, and the job cannot be replaced by AI or a call center in India.
In general, the debt load for a nursing degree is smaller than that incurred by a medical student. So to get paid, MDs do not want to buck the system, and are beholden to the structures and ‘best practices’ and edicts put in place by the CDC/FDA/OSHA/AMA/AHA/medicare etc used by insurers/govt for compensation (or not).
It’s quite a system the baddies have maneuvered us into. On purpose.
