My dad had a brain event, and I was told he was a vegetable and would never come back. “Do you want to start feeding him?”

“He will never improve! He could spend 20 years like this!”

10 days later he came back and started talking to me. We had 2 great years after that.

Thanks for posting this. I’ve read many accounts of Drs saying “brain dead” “won’t live” “just pull the plug” and the patient hearing everything, recovering, etc.
