Your lucky day! I just happen to have a fund raising letter from Lake right in front of me. Don’t donate by credit cards. Somebody else always gets a cut.

I always remind the Pols I support to keep their home address right up front. Do not, repeat, DO NOT, send any support money to any address in Merryfield, VA. That’s where all the professional fund raisers have escaped to and your candidate has little chance of seeing much of that money.
I get about a cubic foot of fund raisers every month-—faster than I can burn them. There must be 200 dollars worth of postage in the burn box right now. Don’t have time to read them and they long ago tripped one of my pet peeves: They never, not ever, say what their platform is. My standard reply is no platform, no money.
