Rep. Tom McClintock, R-Calif., followed Rep. Ken Buck, R-Colo., in announcing he would vote ‘no’ on the resolution to impeach Mayorkas.

‘The only way to stop the border invasion is to replace the Biden administration at the ballot box,’ McClintock wrote on X.

With the GOP’s razor-thin majority it’s not yet clear if the impeachment will pass in a vote on Tuesday evening. If the vote is successful, Mayorkas will be the first Cabinet secretary impeached in 150 years:
