Yesterday I remembered the exact name of the book you referred to, re: social breakdown and dealing with it. I got the book for Hub a few years ago and his office is a mess and hasn’t found it yet. He describes things like neighborhood watch groups etc. Lots of info.

I followed the link with every intention to buy this book. The reviews served to convince me to purchase the paperback.
Then I saw the price. Even used it is ridiculous. It’s not that my life isn’t worth it, but who has 200 bucks laying around for a used paperback book?

It’s $200???? Not when I bought it. Yikes. When I looked it up yesterday, I didn’t see the current price. Maybe ABE Books or Thrift Books.
Look on E-Bay or for an electronic copy you can print. Also, when looking on E-Bay, search for misspellings of it...
(I got a coveted copy of “American Gasoline Engines since 1878” for like $50 because it was spelled “Gadsoline”...)
