actually doctors did learn to think: Diagnosing people is like being a detective.
But modern docs who follow the rules of evidenced based medicine have to obey the bureaucrats or not get paid.
And paramedics like nurse practitioners often only are taught to follow the flow charts.
So pick an older doc, or a nurse practitioner who worked as a regular nurse for years before she studied to be a nurse practitioner.
