There appear to be crowds much further west on the Mall towards the Washington Monument, there is some sort of flag display and something indiscernable beyond that.
I saw the original Rocky movie, or part of it, from between the wooden slats of the fence that surrounded the drive-in theater. I think it was the Cloverleaf Drive-In Theater. Long gone now.
My friend, who watched it with me, joined up in the Golden Gloves and boxed locally for a couple of years.
