How are they generating the electricity? And will you be able to fly it with a Xbox controller?

They call their design "hybrid electric" and the technology demonstrator they flew has a single turbine engine connected to a generator plus lithium batteries to power the eight electric motors.

I like the idea of hybrid electric over plug in electric...that would suck to need to “refuel” in air ;)
