That is interesting, but if you want to see real barbarian hordes, just take a trip to the southern US border.

I read a book about the rise and fall of the Roman empire, they mentioned barbarian hordes, debasing of money, politicians who were focused more on enriching themselves than representing the people.

Fortunately something like that could never happen today.
