Horrifying moment two huge pit bulls named Boo-boo and Jumpety knock disabled man out of his wheelchair and savagely 'rip chunks out of him'

This is the horrifying moment two huge pit bull-type dogs maul a disabled man after knocking him out of his wheelchair.

Dozens of appalled neighbors were powerless to stop the two beasts from ripping 'chunks' out of the victim in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

The dogs, named Jumpety and Boo-boo, had escaped from the yard of a single-story where they had been cared for by neighbors since their owner was jailed.

The victim, known as 'Smokie', was dragged over the sidewalk as onlookers honked their car horns and one edges his semi-trailer towards the bloodthirsty hounds.

'Everybody was gathering around, you know 20 or 30 people, throwing things and that worked for a while,' one neighbor told local10.

'But then they just kept going. Chopped man and you know his face was red.'

Two other dogs which neighbors said had recently moved into the yard are seen on the video barking wildly from behind the fence as the attack unfolds.

A wheel of the victim's overturned wheelchair spins uselessly in the air as the two pit bulls continue their frenzied attack.

Their victim was eventually airlifted to Jackson South Medical Centre where he underwent surgery for severe injuries to his arms, as it emerged that at least one of the dogs had attacked before.

Both animals were well known to neighbors and one said that Boo-boo was thought to be 'peaceful'.

You should get some help for your PTSD. There are some good professionals that can help you.

I’m sorry you or your child was attacked by a bad owner’s dog.

Certain dog names should be banned to. “Jumpety”? At least put a little effort into it. How about “Barky”? Or “Poopy”?
Or “Bitey?”

You self righteous moron. I have nothing but compassion for that man. I was commenting that it’s sad that it has become unwise to even go out in your yard without taking a moment to have your small pistol with you. That in no way blames him. It’s hoping others learn from his innocent mistake.

Jackass.

“blaming the victim because he made the reasonable decision not to carry a pistol.”

He lives in a neighborhood where Pits get loose. He was handicapped and less likely to be able to defend himself physically.
How is not taking a pistol along “reasonable”?

I see you took it personally. I didn’t intend to upset you.

However, I do feel strongly that severe injury or death is not an occasion to accuse or, as happens so often on this site, to gloat.

What I’m telling you is I don’t relate to having anything but compassion for victims of this level of injury.

If you focus more intensely on my comments to you, you might understand that I wasn’t elevating myself. Instead, I was elevating a principle. This distinction is critical.
