The unescapable fact about the death penalty is that it 100% assures that the particular shown-killer WILL NOT KILL AGAIN once he is executed.
To believe that such an outcome (i.e., 100% no more killing by the convicted killer) could be accomplished without his death is what is “mentally deranged.”

I call BS on the “thrashing” and “convulsing” - probably just play acting, excepting the below.
I don’t get why they went with this mask set-up. Stupid and pointless, perhaps causing a panic attack. Just slowly flood the room with N2. Totally benign and painless. There is no panic response as there is to CO2 asphyxiation.
Seems like any method of execution US states adopt, they always manage to do it as idiotic as humanly possible.
Murder is wrong. Killing murderers isn’t.
