“Better option I think is signal jamming. Im pretty sure this can be improved. Big area jammers are not so good, they tend to be big targets for artillery/HIMARS. Small point defense ones may be better, so every vehicle can have one.”

The Russians have tried drone jammers to no avail. The Ukrainians simply flip to a different frequency and finish the attack. In fact the Ukrainian EW capabilities is proving to be better than what the Russians have.

Ukraine has neutralized Russian GPS jamming.

Ukraine has neutralized Russian counter drone jamming.

A Russian oil terminal on the Black Sea has been blown up in an apparent Ukrainian drone strike.

Video footage from the scene showed a drone flying towards the Tuapse oil depot in Russia’s Krasnodar region on Wednesday night.

City mayor Sergey Boyko said there were no casualties and the fire was extinguished at 4.53am local time (1.53am GMT).

The prominent Baza Telegram channel said explosions were heard in the city before the fire started at the Rosneft depot as anti-air defenses attempted to engage the drone.

Ukraine is yet to officially claim responsibility.

It has attacked four other oil depots in Russia this month, including one in St Petersburg more than 700 miles from Ukraine’s northern border.
