I clicked into the article to see who was sponsoring it. The fourth paragraph says...

"The online event was co-sponsored by a host of local environmental organizations."

So I followed the "Event" link which takes you to an "EventBrite" announcement which in turn leads to the League of Women Voters of Sacramento County and the event details "Sacramento Mayoral Candidate Forum on Climate Justice."

A quick search eventually gets you to the League of Women Voters of Sacramento County" where you learn that "Our League: The League of Women Voters of Sacramento County is an organization of individuals of all gender identities."

So, in all honesty, it should be the "League of Gender Confused Voters of Sacramento County." One concludes that they are as confused about gender as they are about climate. Surprise, surprise.
