(2) “Soldiers” has a very specific meaning, namely part of a military. Yes, that had occurred to me.
However knowing the history behind the 3 rd Amendment it would be a simple thing to argue that the 3 rd was written to prohibit the Federal government from forcing citizens to house any person in their home against their will.
In my opinion it is hard to read it any other way.
But of course your point that Leftist judges find it difficult to rule against anything that a Leftist President might want to do is well taken and not to be disregarded or considered impossible.

Why do they need to sign up? Just go down to local immigration office and pick up a half dozen illegals from Guatemala, Honduras and Haiti. And no asking for ID or pictures.

Any home-owner willing to sign up for this so called "program" DESERVES anything and everything that happens to them as a result.Just file these FOOLISH actions to be a "do-gooder" under either the "live & learn" category or the "reap what you sow" dept.
