True. Just one of many 'vaccines' and medicines manufactured by Pfizer.
Still, how do they manage to make that much profit ?
“how do they manage to make that much profit ?”
Most big pharma companies have one or two drugs that they make most of their income on. That is because they have seven years to make it before their patented product becomes genenric. Then anyone can make it. For example, Pfizer had Viagara. They made a sh#t load of money on it. They could charge almost anything they wanted at first and older men would buy it. Now, it can be made by any pharmacy in the world. So, the price drops and so does their profitability.
This is the case for Ozempic right now. Ely Lilly is the current patent holder on this drug developed for diabetes. It recently received the official okey dokey from the FDA for off label use for weight loss. It will most likely be the most profitable single drug this year because of this. Obesity and diabetes go hand in hand. However, now there are a lot of women(and some men) taking to drop that extra 10-15 pounds. It is a lot easier than going to the gym. FYI, Ely Lilly stock tripled over the last year.
Pfizer, Modera, Astra Xeneca, Johnson & Johnson(to some extent) made multiple billions off of the covid-19 vaccines. Literally hundreds of millions(maybe billions) of people took that drug. The best part for the drug companies was that they got paid for it by the governments. Plus they gave them IMMUNITY for any SIDE EFFECTS. People died, had strokes and other life altering side effects that would have put any other major pharma corporation into bankruptcy court.
