My mother worked at a hospital in the 1960s and there was an Orderly from Nigeria who told her the same thing about American blacks. It’s not new. They can’t stand American blacks. They don’t like the attitude. They’re fine with whites. Maybe Africans can think for themselves instead of letting race pumps do their thinking.

I was getting a blood test done during early Covid. The woman drawing the blood was from Africa, don’t remember which country. We were talking about how things had changed because of Covid. One thing she said she missed most was how friendly everyone had always been. If you were standing in a checkout lane, chances were good you might strike up a conversation with a total stranger. She said in her own country you didn’t talk or associate with anyone outside your tribal group.
