Sometimes someone follows me who has NO POSTS. ????? What are these things?

These are bots. Some are sex bots; some crypto bots; some political bots.

Don't know where they come from, or how they get sign-up dates of 2009 or 2013, etc. They have zero or low number of followers, no posts, few replies.

I just block them immediately.

The political bots infiltrate the MAGA/Trump posters, and if you let them linger, then you'll get hit by tons of attacks from Leftists, LGBTQ+, and all the other bots, along with vulgar/porn posts that you least want to see.

Block mercilessly and quickly.

Some folks speculate that the FIBs still have a back door into the X systems, and that's a fair assumption.

If someone pops in your thread that doesn’t follow you to cause trouble, they are likely bots. Block.
