Was that cow bought in southern California in the 70's? If so I know one of the kids(girl)

That particular package of steak was a Hawaiian. Being solid black, the name Sambo was a natural, I guess. He’d been raised more like a puppy and the kids didn’t want to be around when I dressed him out. He was the guest of honor for our next 300, or so, dinners.
