Side note - I wish that Smith & Wesson would get rid of that Hillary hole just above the cylinder release. It detracts from the looks of the gun, and it represents a defeat - a caving to our federal overlords.

Otherwise, the 50 cal is interesting, though I’m sticking to my Dirty Harry S&W Model 29 44 mag with the 8 3/8” barrel. Bought it as soon as I was 21.

At the range one day I saw (as did the rest of the line who stopped to watch) a kid that couldn’t have been more than 7 or 8 years old empty a whole cylinder of one of those down range all in the circle on the paper on the 25 yard pistol range.

Duly impressed were all, and kudo’s to the dad that leveled him up to handling the caliber!
