What makes you think he’s deep state? On occasion, I’ve thought of him as a tad less conservative than I’d like, but in general he’s doing the right thing. I believe your own Governor Lee stands by Abbott - does that make him a deep state supporter?

Our Gov. Lee is dreadful. Just like our senators Blackburn and Hagerty, both of whom voted to confirm the election in Jan 6.
He stuck his neck out to get refugee resettlement here. He was a proponent for paid family leave for state employees. He got squishy on the 2A after the mass shooting in Nashville. And that’s just the beginning.
