That article was effectively repealed by Congress when it declared McCain, who was not born in the US, and O’Bama to be Natural Born Citizens. No one questioned that and now pretty much anyone on earth is “eligible” to run for President of the USA if he is 35 years old and has resided in the USA for a time.
Interesting...how does Congress repeal an article of the Constitution by a statute? Our Constitution requires a Constitutional Amendment to do that. We are truly a lawless nation. Why should any one of us ever obey any law at all?
