Your Latin is deficient: Deo is the Latin word for God.

I.e; "Gloria in excelsis Deo" - "Glory to God in the Highest".

All you have to do is ask the nearest Catholic.

Hmmm ...

Latin for “God” is “Deus”. “Dei” is the plural, which is sort of appropriate to today’s modernist pagans.

“Deo”, IIRC, is the indirect object form. “Dative”?

But Latin class was a long time ago, and maybe I’m forgetting something.
