Viagra.
“Your doctor is the first you should ask.”
Yeah. Because doctors never lie to their patients. 🙄
That was by far the easiest way I lost weight. Low carb.
Possibly the most annoying commercial of the decade.
You don’t lose weight to get healthy, you get healthy to lose weight. Ozempic may let you lose weight, but you won’t be healthy.
I’ve noticed this happens so often with “wonder drugs”. When the drug first was touted as a miracle weight loss drug, I knew that sooner or later the attorney advertisements would follow. Introducing chemicals to your body to induce weight loss instead of changing your diet and exercise is a recipe for disastrous consequences to your health.
Basically cut out all processed food.
Low-Carb + Intermittent Fasting is better than any pill.
Yep. When my husband was diagnosed with diabetes, I changed the content of our meals to one of low carbs and reduced added sugar. He lost 25, but I lost 35 pounds. My doctor insisted I gain back ten of it so I added ice cream back into my diet. Neither of us were extremely overweight but both could have afforded to lose 20 pounds or so.
I don’t understand why people don’t just switch to lower carb meals and reduce the sugars to lose weight. It is not that we cut out all of them entirely. It is not that hard to do.
I now regularly do 36-hour fasts, and the thing is, I actually feel so much better, and I have to force myself to eat, when the fasting period is over.

We haven’t fasted for that length of time, but I admit that fasting does help. I believe it just shrinks your stomach and so when you do eat you don’t feel as hungry and do not consume as much food.
Also, if you are fat-adapted, your body gets better at being able to use your fat stores for energy. But I do fasting more for the autophagy and anti-aging benefits rather than losing weight.
but no....people had to have it to lose weight...
the worst ever.
its because our people demand a quick fix pill for everything....wimpy peter, weight loss, too much sweat, too much pee, or not enough....
“Because doctors never lie to their patients.”
This is why I know how to research medication as before I jump in the water, I want to know how deep it is. We talk, I decide. And I don’t care if it pisses him off.
I do have one advantage as I deal with military medicine and they not only hve no reason to lie about medications because they can’t get kickbacks from the dealers, but the pharmacy on post backchecks the drugs for intervention and amounts before they dispense. Medical oversight

That was true for about a bazillion years. Then came Covid. So much changed with that. Organizations and people we trusted did an about face.
The covid thing didn’t intimidate the medical people. They just treated it when it arrived in their lap and their opinion was non-existent.

That.commercial triggers bowel movements in me. I suppose that’s not entirely bad.
