Slavery existed in north America under the United States only from 1776 until 1865 when we ended it. 89 years. Prior to that, it was a British thing.

Oglethorpe founded it extralegally? Was it still named Georgia?

Slavery existed in north America under the United States only from 1776 until 1865 when we ended it.

We ended it in 1865, but then we brought it back in the late 90s and early 2000s with our trade deals with the Chicoms. The only difference between the slave holding states and the free traitors is that instead of importing the slaves, they offshored the plantations.
