I hope you’re right. But I don’t see it. There is no record of who is where. Tracking them all down - and then moving them - would be a huge task.
It would probably take the National Guard. Does Trump have the stomach for that? And if he does, does Congress have enough courage to fund everything?
I fear we’ll see some sort of junk amnesty deal instead.
My solution (not that anyone asked): Pay the illegals to return home. At the same time build the wall. This will be expensive. But it’s the position Biden put us in.
We have got to do something. The illegals will not be difficult to find, for one, they all dump their ID’s upon entry. No id, you are flying back to South America. If they get on the wrong plane to the wrong country back, oh well.
